1/8/2008: I fell in love with the town and this park and plan to come back. Close to Big Bend National Park, Marathon has a quaint, quirky flavor. The RV park also has little duplex style cabins for rent. There is a large courtyard with a nightly community fire for socializing. I didn't get to try out the Cafe since I was only there one night but I did enjoy the fire & meeting folks.

This is a small park and there are limited "scenic" spots to park. Since I needed a pull-through I ended up in the open area...but the views were worth it. Plus, because it was only one night, I didn't check out the restrooms, shower, etc. but if as neat and clean as everything else....
