UPDATE:
October 2007 - My return to full-timing!
Now that I am solo due to my husband's passing, I am making the move to the full-time lifestyle.
Hopefully there will be time to start updating this site once again...links and
articles.
Watch for updates and read my BLOG,

For years we talked about it but did nothing. Finally a death in
the family forced to discuss our dream of RVing. We spent months reading,
researching and looking at motorhomes and fifth wheel trailers.
We made the decision to buy a motorhome and lucked into a great buy, our 1989 35' Allegro MH. In
December 1997 we sold our home, moved all our stuff into the MH, changed jobs
and hit the road, working as fiber optic construction inspectors. We had a ball!
Of course things changed, as they always do, and although we
still have our MH we also have a great little cabin in the mountains of
north/central Pennsylvania (in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest).
We spent over a year writing freelance articles about buying and
living in an RV - the RV Lifestyle in general. So we've opted to publish these
articles here to hopefully help others in their search for their dream RV. Read and enjoy!
I hope you will follow our adventures in our
blog, From the Lily Pad.
2008 - Motorcycle Sold
In March of 2008 I made the final decision....Squirt and his home would
be sold. I found new homes for both and bought a car as my toad, appropriately
named Polliwog. It's a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
2008 - Solar Added
I added a complete solar system to the Lily Pad the end of January, 2008.
You can read more here.
2007 - BoBo Gone
In an unfortunate and unpreventable accident, BoBo was hit by a car. I no
longer travel with a companion.
2007 - Motorhome
Bought
I hit the road full-time October 26, 2007 in my 26' Tioga
(Class C) motorhome - The Lily Pad. I'm accompanied by BoBo, my wonder pup
(rescue dog: 1/2 Chihuahua, 1/2 Schnauzer). The tag-along is my fiberglass
enclosed Chariot trailer which carries my 2006 BMW F650GS motorcycle, Squirt.
2003 - Motorhome
Sold
As normal for us, things change and we now have sold
our motorhome. While I will attempt to maintain links on these pages, I won't be
adding anything new. Thank you for your understanding!
