My mom passed when I was 38, she was only 62. I’ve outlived her by 15 years now. I have no photos taken with her as an adult. In this day and age with camera phones and digital photos – take LOTS if your mom is still alive.

Oh, my gosh, yes, this is so important. My mother was an only child who had lost both of her parents by the time she was 30. I asked her once how she felt about that, beyond of course missing them. She said, “It’s like I’m breaking new ground every day, with no one to show the way!”
