I was inspired to answer this question thanks to another blog post, No Second Guessing. Here are my thoughts…
I think my best trait is organization, I’ve always been very good at it. Whether it’s physical organization or computerized work, I love organizing things. I think it appeals to the OCD side of me as I’ve previously blogged about.
My closet is somewhat organized with things I wear the least on the outer ends (off-season on the left). Then dressy items (cruising tops/bottoms), long-sleeve tops, short-sleeve tops, seasonal pants, extra hangers, and then off-season items.
I have cubes for shirts, sweatshirts, leggings (full and capri length), and other clothing items. The off-season cubes go on the overhead shelf.
My dressers are also organized and believe it or not, I have kept them set up in the same way for years, no matter where I was. House, RV – it didn’t matter. Underwear & socks in the top drawer, t-shirts in the next drawer, anything else in the bottom (swimwear back when I had some, now it’s leggings – LOTS of leggings).
My office stays pretty organized even thought my desk worktop is cluttered. I love all the little things I have, they make me smile when they catch my eye.
I’ve always been a kitchen organizer, even though I have too much on the countertop (according to experts). My hubby has become the main cook, but he let me organize things the way I wanted when we moved into the house. Yeah, he’s a keeper.
Why do I love organizing? It goes hand in hand with the mantra – Put everything back where you got it and you’ll always be able to find it.
I so agree with you!!!
Similar to my mantra. Put everything in its place the first time so you don't have to touch it again.
And your brother is even more an organizer than either of us. LOL!
Yes!
